Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years in power system protection, plus experience with SEL, GE, ABB relays and ETAP/SKM/Aspen. PE optional; U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; power systems focus.
  • 7+ years in power system protection engineering.
  • Experience with microprocessor relays and relay software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform protection system calculations and analysis for diverse clients.
  • Develop relay settings for HV/EHV substations and transmission lines.
  • Develop relay settings for generators, transformers, motors and LV/MV protection devices.
  • Assist clients to comply with NERC PRC standards.
  • Relaying event report analysis.
