Job summary

WSP is seeking an Experienced P&C Field Services Technician based in Missouri or Indiana to support POWER Testing and Energization activities. You will perform protection and control testing at HV substations, use relay test sets, and document field data for project teams.

You will mentor junior technicians, uphold safety standards, and collaborate with field leads to address on-site challenges while traveling up to 80% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years in electrical testing preferred.
• Experience with medium/high voltage switching, transformers, and substation protection testing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NETA/IEEE/NFPA guidelines and protective relays.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning for protection and control systems on high voltage substations.
• On-site relay testing using Omicron CMC 256/356 or Doble F6150; handle relays like SEL/GE families.
• Document site activities with field forms and digital tools; ensure data integrity.
