Electric Power Systems seeks a Sr. Relay Technician to lead protection and control testing, commissioning, and field execution for substations and industrial systems.

You will analyze protection schemes, supervise field teams, and interface with utilities, delivering reliable operation and clear documentation. Candidates typically have 5+ years of experience and relevant NETA credentials, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, testing and repairing protective relays in substations.
• Strong knowledge of power protection schemes and control circuits.
• Ability to lead field teams and coordinate projects with utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety briefings and enforce safety policies on job sites.
• Analyze protection schemes for power circuits and systems.
• Perform installation, commissioning, testing and functional testing of relay panels.
• Read and validate protection and control schematics and configurations.
• Develop project execution plans and oversee large commissioning projects.
