Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited).
• 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in protective relaying projects for power generation, transmission, and distribution.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain one.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Proven track record of safety compliance and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineering, and studies of protection systems for bulk power equipment.
• Lead client projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget; mentor junior engineers.
• Data acquisition and onsite data collection as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, ANSI, and NERC PRC standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the ESSP team.
