You will design protection systems for substations, transmission lines, generators, and renewables, lead project teams, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with the ESSP group across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree required.
• 5–7 years post-education experience in protective relaying for utility-scale projects.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Travel may be required per project needs.
• Commitment to workplace safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and study protection systems for bulk power equipment.
• Lead project teams, provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Coordinate with clients and improve protection philosophies.
• Perform data collection and site visits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE/ANSI/NERC standards.
