Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Engineer for Solid Missile Systems to own supplier performance, qualify new products, and de-risk the supply chain in a fast-paced aerospace environment. You will lead supplier development, drive quality improvements, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration with suppliers, root cause analysis, and the delivery of durable corrective actions to reduce defects and ensure part reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, STEM discipline or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or supplier‑facing roles in high product complexity environments (Space, Aerospace, Defense, or Medical).
• Experience with AS9102 forms and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement in hardware quality, cost, delivery, and capacity across the supply base.
• Lead supplier development and audits and act as primary owner for assigned suppliers.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Provide onsite technical support to suppliers to ensure part reliability and manufacturability.
• Manage deviation requests, MRB, RTV, and supplier corrective actions.
