Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior Modeling, Simulation, and Controls Engineer to lead complex propulsion and aerospace control initiatives.

You will develop architectures, validate algorithms, mentor juniors, and ensure modeling rigor across programs for national defense and space-focused projects. The role emphasizes solid rocket motor performance, controllable solids technologies, and state-space/control methods applied to system-level propulsion development and integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace, mechanical, electrical or related STEM field
• Master’s or Ph.D. preferred; may substitute for up to 2 years of experience
• Strong modeling, control theory and simulation background

Responsibilities

• Lead high-fidelity models and control algorithms for propulsion and flight control systems
• Develop simulation architectures for design verification and validation
• Perform system-level analyses including Monte Carlo and sensitivity studies
• Architect control topologies and gain tuning methodologies
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight across multidisciplinary teams
• Interface with customers to define requirements and present results
• Create, validate and deploy advanced estimation techniques
• Lead technology maturation and trade studies for propulsion concepts
