Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks an experienced Level IV Modeling, Simulation, and Controls Engineer to advance propulsion and aerospace systems through high-fidelity modeling, algorithm development, and performance assessments. You will apply solid rocket motors and controllable solids expertise to model system behavior and support design maturity and program success.

This role requires increasing independence, technical ownership, and collaboration with GNC, software, systems, and customer teams,

Qualifications

• Strong modeling, control systems, and dynamic behavior knowledge.
• Experience with propulsion modeling and solid rocket motors.
• Ability to interface with DoD customers and support decision-making.
• Commitment to technical rigor and quality execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity models and control algorithms for propulsion, flight control, and guidance subsystems.
• Support creation of system simulation architectures for design iteration, verification, and validation.
• Perform controllability studies of dynamic systems under perturbations and various control strategies.
• Define control system topologies and support gain tuning across architectures.
• Contribute to system performance assessments using Monte Carlo, sensitivity, and parametric studies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of modeling products.
