Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a senior Level IV Modeling, Simulation, and Controls Engineer to design and analyze propulsion control systems and simulation architectures for aerospace programs. You will perform high-fidelity modeling, develop control algorithms, and assess performance against mission requirements.

The role emphasizes solid rocket motors knowledge, independence, and technical ownership, with collaboration across engineering disciplines and with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited college/university is required.
• Master’s degree preferred and may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Experience in aerospace/defense modeling and control environments is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity propulsion and guidance models and control algorithms.
• Create system simulation architectures to support design iterations and validation.
• Apply physics-based modeling to mechanical, thermal, and aerodynamic subsystems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support technical reviews.
