Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Level V Modeling, Simulation, and Controls Engineer to serve as a senior technical authority across propulsion and aerospace programs. You will develop system architectures, design and validate algorithms, mentor junior engineers, and ensure modeling rigor to meet customer objectives.

The role requires deep expertise in solid rocket motor performance and controllable solids, applying advanced modeling and control techniques to support propulsion system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical, electrical engineering or related STEM field.
• 10–15 years of experience in modeling, simulation, or control systems in aerospace/defense.
• DoD or government programs experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-fidelity models and control algorithms for propulsion, guidance, and flight control systems.
• Develop simulation architectures for design, verification and validation of aerospace control systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure modeling rigor across programs.
• Interface with DoD customers and lead technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
