Shield AI, a defense-tech innovator, seeks a Proposal Specialist to support US federal and international government bids, ROM pricing, RFIs, and white papers for the ASME GTM team. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage multiple workstreams, and ensure timely, compliant submissions.

The role requires exceptional written and oral communication, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to operate across Shield AI’s fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of U.S. Federal or international government proposal development or BD operations experience.
• 3+ years of experience with U.S. Federal or International government requirements as an alternative.
• Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong academic achievement.
• Experience with proposal methodologies (e.g. Shipley), compliance matrices, and project management tools/processes.
• Proven leadership in a professional setting.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a startup environment and with all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated hard work, trustworthiness, and kindness.

Responsabilités

• Manage competing priorities across proposal development and related deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead end-to-end proposal execution from pre-RFP planning through submission and closeout.
• Drive cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality submissions on schedule.
• Continuously improve proposal processes, tools, and templates.
• Mentor proposal contributors and foster high-performing teams.
• Support ASME GTM with briefing and presentation development for customer engagements.
• Support customer meetings, demonstrations, and GTM events as needed.
• Provide additional support to BD Ops and GTM leadership.
