Job summary

SOCOTEC US, a leading engineering consulting firm in New York, seeks a Senior Proposal Writer to join our national proposals team. The role requires coordinating RFP responses, developing technical proposals, and aligning with service line leaders to address public-sector requirements.

This full-time position favors in-office work four days per week with up to one remote day, and involves CRM data management, collaboration with Legal and Finance, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proposal writing experience in AEC or similar sector.
• Knowledge of NY municipalities and public-sector procurement preferred.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals with deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree; architecture/engineering background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals for public-sector and municipal clients.
• Coordinate RFP responses and input from service lines.
• Maintain familiarity with regional procurement practices.
• Quality control of proposals for accuracy and compliance.
• Enter client and project data in CRM (Deltek).
• Collaborate with Legal and Finance to finalize packages.
