Job summary

SOCOTEC invites a Senior Proposal Writer to join our national proposals team, based in one of our Florida offices (Tampa, Naples, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Gables, or Orlando). This full-time role requires a minimum of four in-office days per week with up to one remote day.

The role focuses on developing proposals for public-sector and municipal clients, coordinating with service line leaders, and delivering high-quality qualifications packages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in proposal writing for public-sector/procurement contexts.
• Experience with architecture/engineering/consulting firm environments preferred.
• Strong written and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate among service lines.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical proposals and qualification packages for public-sector clients.
• Coordinate inputs from service line leaders and ensure compliant, compelling submissions.
• Maintain and improve templates, narratives, and graphics with the Proposal Team Manager.
• Support client communications and track proposal status in Deltek CRM.
