Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Level 3 Principal Proposal Analyst or Level 4 Senior Principal Proposal Analyst to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. The role focuses on evaluating and developing bids, coordinating cost, schedule, and technical elements, and leading proposal activities with cross-functional teams.
Candidates will analyze data, manage cost models, and participate in negotiations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline; 5 years proposal or material estimating experience or Master’s with 3 years
- Ability to interpret and present complex data
- Solid understanding of project management and cost estimation principles
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARs and proposal development standards
- Experience with Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and cost estimating tools (e.g., ProPricer)
- Must obtain US Government Secret Clearance and program access
Responsibilities
- Lead/develop proposals and cost/elements per RFP specifications
- Coordinate collection and validation of cost, schedule and technical data
- Research historical data and develop cost models for proposals
- Participate in fact-finding meetings and price review discussions
- Collaborate with contract negotiating teams and management
- Maintain CEFS and allocations reviews for programs
