Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) seeks a Principal Price/Cost Proposal Analyst Level 3 to support the Strike Division on site in Melbourne, FL (or Palmdale). The role evaluates supplier proposals, prepares PCARs, and provides QA reviews to ensure compliant, timely submissions.

You will collaborate with Contracts, Pricing & Estimating, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain, apply FAR/DFARS knowledge, conduct market research, and support negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in business/finance/economics with 5 years of related experience; or Masters with 3 years; or PhD
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance
• Experience in Price/Cost Analysis reporting
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting
• Ability to perform cost accounting, pricing, and estimating concepts
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; able to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Evaluate proposals for compliance to FAR/DFARS and Northrop Grumman requirements
• Prepare and perform a detailed PCAR analysis of labor, materials, ODCs, rates, escalation and profit/fee
• Conduct market research and develop cost estimating models and factors
• Coordinate with suppliers and engineers to review basis of estimates and source documents
• May analyze direct/indirect rates at supplier locations and provide rate recommendations
• Support subcontract negotiations and definitional processes
• Maintain records and supporting data for proposals
