Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Proposal Coordinator to lead diverse proposal efforts from kickoff through submission. You will work with engineers, leaders, and SMEs to craft client-focused, compliant, and visually compelling proposals.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll shape win themes, coordinate reviews, and prepare teams for interviews while ensuring high standards and timely delivery of all materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required or related.
• 2+ years related experience in proposal work.
• Pre-employment checks may be required for selected candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development activities, including kickoff meetings, schedules, reviews, production, and interview preparation.
• Guide teams in developing win themes, client-focused messaging, and strategic content.
• Create and format proposal documents using Adobe InDesign.
• Coordinate graphic development and contribute simple graphics and visual concepts.
• Research, gather, and develop proposal content, including drafting non-technical sections.
• Manage pursuit schedules, milestones, and compliance requirements.
• Review and edit proposals for clarity, quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Support multiple concurrent proposals while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
• Coordinate interview presentations, resumes, project descriptions, organizational charts, and other proposal materials.
• Facilitate proposal meetings and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to drive successful outcomes.
