Job summary

Innovas is seeking a Senior Capture & Proposal Manager to build and lead the capture and proposal function for DoD/DoW and Federal opportunities. The role requires hands-on leadership from strategy through contract award, directing cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality proposals.

The successful candidate will craft capture plans, run winning themes, and establish repeatable processes while growing a scalable function within a remote, nationwide team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Engineering, Communications, Government, or related field.
• 10+ years of capture management, proposal management, or business development experience supporting the DoD/DoW or Federal Government.
• Demonstrated experience leading captures and writing winning proposals through contract award.
• Strong understanding of the Federal acquisition lifecycle, FAR, DFARS, and competitive procurements.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional proposal teams and executive reviews.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture activities from opportunity qualification through contract award.
• Develop capture plans, pursuit strategies, and win themes aligned with customer priorities.
• Conduct customer, competitor, and market research to strengthen competitive positioning.
• Lead capture reviews, Black Hat sessions, and pursuit decision gates.
• Build relationships with government customers, industry partners, and teammates.
