Job summary

Allianz Commercial is seeking a property risk engineer consultant to support our West zone, with a base in California, Arizona, or Nevada. You will perform on-site field surveys, evaluate exposures, and develop loss-control recommendations to assist underwriting and clients.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of property risk engineering experience, a Fire Protection Engineering background, and strong communication skills. A hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

7+ years in property risk engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
Experience with earthquake risk assessments.
Willingness to travel across the US.
Hybrid work environment experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site field surveys and risk assessments for large corporate clients.
Produce risk engineering reports and recommendations for underwriting and clients.
Support underwriting with data-driven risk insights.
Coordinate with clients, brokers, claims and underwriting teams.
Travel within US and potentially Canada or international destinations.
