Job summary

Allianz Commercial seeks a property engineer consultant to support its West zone with field surveys and risk assessments. The role requires strong property risk engineering and earthquake risk expertise, plus experience coordinating large accounts and a mix of office and field work.

Hybrid work and travel are expected. Reporting to ARC leadership, you will develop risk reports, support underwriting, and contribute to ARC services while engaging with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ strong engineering/technical expertise in Property Risk Engineering and Earthquake risks.
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related discipline; extensive technical expertise in Property/HPR insurance.
• Experience coordinating large global corporate property accounts across various occupancies.
• Experience in field and desktop evaluation of earthquake risks, loss estimates and risk engineering solutions.
• Familiarity with NFPA or FM Global guidelines; knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently support large corporate clients with on-site field engineering surveys and risk reviews for underwriting and insureds.
• Prepare risk engineering reports and provide professional advice to clients and underwriting from a site and program-wide perspective.
• Generate account engineering summaries and risk reports while adhering to GSOP and deadlines.
• Balance field surveys with prospect/account reviews; coordinate with clients, brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist with ARC services and participate in ARC initiatives and training within Allianz Commercial.
