Job summary

Allianz Commercial seeks a property engineer consultant to support loss control and risk assessment for West zone clients in CA, AZ, NV. On-site surveys, risk reviews, and collaboration with underwriting help optimize risk selection and retention.

The role requires extensive field and desktop evaluation capabilities, strong communication, and the ability to travel across the US as needed. Hybrid work model with a focus on client service and risk analytics is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ strong engineering/technical expertise in Property Risk Engineering and Earthquake risks.
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or other Engineering type discipline; or related discipline with extensive property/insurance expertise.
• Experience in field and desktop evaluation and assessment of earthquake risks, incl. loss estimates and risk solutions.
• Familiarity with diverse occupancies and hazards; experience coordinating large corporate property accounts.

Responsibilities

• Independently support large corporate clients with on-site field engineering survey assessments and risk reviews.
• Develop loss control reports and risk engineering recommendations for underwriting and clients.
• Generate risk engineering reports and ensure data quality per GSOP and requirements.
• Balance field surveys with account reviews and coordinate with underwriting, clients, and brokers.
• Assist with ARC services and cross-functional projects; participate in training and presentations.
