Allianz Commercial seeks a property engineer consultant to support West zone clients across CA, AZ, and NV. You will conduct on-site field surveys, evaluate exposures, and deliver risk reports to aid underwriting and client risk management.

The role blends field work with desk reviews in a hybrid setup, with travel across the US as needed. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in property risk engineering and earthquake risk knowledge, plus a fire protection engineering background.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of strong engineering/technical expertise in Property Risk Engineering and Earthquake risks.
Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field with extensive property insurance experience.
Experience across occupancies with hazards and controls relating to Earthquake risks.

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site field engineering surveys and risk assessments for large client accounts.
Prepare risk engineering reports and recommendations to support underwriting.
Coordinate with underwriting, clients, brokers, and claims to enhance resilience.
Support ARC services and client training with clear, data-driven insights.
