Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Risk Control Senior Specialist, Property in the United States. The role involves onsite and virtual visits to assess complex risks, support underwriting, and deliver risk-control guidance to customers and partners.

You will mentor junior staff, share expertise, and help drive loss-reduction strategies while staying current with industry trends and conference insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline.
• Six+ years of risk assessment/consulting experience within property discipline or fire protection.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent field presence, 20–50% with customers onsite or virtually.
• Conduct risk evaluations of high-complexity Travelers customers and assist with risk pricing.
• Educate customers on risk management practices and recommended changes.
• Mentor Risk Control consultants and specialists, providing guidance on technical matters.
