Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Senior Risk Control Specialist to own the Property Technical Discipline in the assigned territory. You will conduct quality risk assessments, assist customers with loss control, and collaborate with staff and underwriters to improve risk management.

Ideal candidates have extensive risk control experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor consultants and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a science discipline.
• Certification in one or more recognized risk control disciplines such as PE, CFPS, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent field presence, 20%–50% of time with customers onsite or virtually.
• Conduct risk evaluations for high complexity clients and support risk pricing with Underwriting.
• Educate customers on risk management and influence adoption of recommended changes.
• Mentor Risk Control consultants and staff, review survey reports, and provide regular guidance.
• Deliver industry-related trainings and share expertise with stakeholders.
