Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management with supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage a budget, read a financial statement, and act on variances.
• Working knowledge of fair housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations.
• Proficiency with property management software such as AppFolio, Yardi, RealPage, or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional interaction with residents, owners, and vendors.
• Flexibility to work weekends during high-traffic leasing periods.

Responsibilities

• Own the property's operating budget, monitoring income and expenses monthly to achieve NOI targets.
• Review and analyze weekly and monthly operational and financial reports, identifying variances and implementing corrective action.
• Manage delinquency proactively through follow-up, payment plans, and legal actions when necessary.
• Oversee leasing process from lead generation through lease execution to maintain occupancy and revenue goals.
• Coach the leasing team on sales technique, cadence, and conversion performance.
• Maintain resident communication standards and oversee resolution of concerns and retention initiatives.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop team members; conduct regular reviews and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws, tenant regulations, and company policies.
