Job summary

Avison Young is seeking a Property Manager in the United States to manage and maintain an assigned portfolio, handling all financial aspects and vendor relations. Base salary is aligned with market data and estimated between $90,000 to $100,000 with bonus opportunities.

The role requires strong knowledge of commercial real estate, budgeting, and tenant coordination, with experience in financial terminology and reporting. A competitive benefits package is offered to full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, real estate, or finance.
• CPM or RPA designation a plus.
• 4–7 years related experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate, financial terms and principles, and ability to analyse complex financial decisions.
• Proven track record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and control operating and capital expenditures.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, rent collection, CAM estimates, true-ups, reconciliations, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance of tenant lease agreements by Landlord and Tenant.
• Coordinate with Property Management and Building Staff Teams to resolve tenant needs.
• Oversee vendor selection, RFQs, service agreements, and monitor performance.
• Schedule and facilitate maintenance with vendors and tenants.
• Maintain relationships with Property Owners to meet objectives.
• Perform property inspections and recommend enhancements.
• Develop, coach, and counsel team members to achieve performance goals.
