Job summary

Avison Young is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee a regional office portfolio, aligning operations with the strategic plan and client objectives. Lead financial management, occupancy reporting, and service coordination with vendors.

The role emphasizes supervision of engineering, maintenance, and admin staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and cost-effective operations across the portfolio. Strong leadership and CRE knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Four-year college degree; CPM/RPA designation desired.
5+ years in real estate with facility/property management; 7–10 years preferred.
5+ years supervising staff including hiring, training and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the approved strategic plan for the portfolio.
Prepare annual budget and monthly variance reports for the client.
Monitor lease terms and resolve facility-related concerns.
Ensure site operations comply with policies and client objectives.
Train and supervise building, admin, maintenance, and engineering staff.
Coordinate with procurement on service contracts to optimize cost and performance.
