Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations at one or more Class A multifamily properties in Phoenix. The role demands strong leadership, tenant relations, budgeting, and on-site operations management to meet occupancy and financial goals.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, budgeting, training, performance management, and collaboration with maintenance and HR. A Bachelor’s degree and 4 years in multifamily PM are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of relevant experience
• 4 years in multifamily property management, with ≥2 years as a Community Manager
• Class A or High Rise experience preferred
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting and variance analysis
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Yardi
• Experience with revenue management tools (LRO, AIRM, Yieldstar)
• Strong leadership and tenant/community relations skills

Responsibilities

• Leads property staff, oversees onboarding, training, timesheet approval and annual reviews
• Drives performance, provides feedback, and collaborates with HR on disciplinary actions
• Conducts ongoing training on leasing paperwork, safety, and operations
• Motivates staff through recognition, training, and team-building activities
• Develops and manages annual budgets and variance reporting
• Oversees monthly and yearly financial reporting and variance analyses
• Promotes resident satisfaction and retention by addressing issues promptly
• Collaborates with maintenance on service requests and upkeep
• Delivers excellent customer service and maintains high resident standards
• Analyzes market trends and partners with marketing on leasing strategies
• Follows eviction procedures and supports court processes as needed
• Manages client/owner relationships and communicates updates
• Creates and executes business plans for each community
• Reviews PO/invoices for accuracy and timely submission
• Monitors marketing efforts and property website quality
