Holmes Murphy is seeking a Sr. Claims Specialist to join the Property Casualty team in Minnesota. The role focuses on expert client service, claims reporting, and guidance through the claim process, while working with open losses and timely communications with clients and parties.

Education and licensing are emphasized, with a 1–3 year experience expectation in property and casualty claims; a comprehensive benefits package and a forward-thinking culture accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree or property casualty claims and insurance experience preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years career experience. Property and casualty claims, agency and/or insurance experience a plus.
• Licensing: State-specific state commercial & personal property-casualty license required or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Technical competencies: Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs.

Responsabilités

• Independently perform the daily tasks required to efficiently manage daily claims needs.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and operate as an effective partner with clients.
• Consult, educate and assist clients with claims related functions and services including reporting claims, understanding coverage and claim processes.
• Notify parties in litigated matters and ensure timely notice of new lawsuits.
• Research and follow-up for clients on claims management issues and questions.
• Provide and/or oversee accurate and timely loss information for internal and external clients’ use.
