Holmes Murphy in Minnesota is seeking a Sr. Claims Specialist to join our Property Casualty team. You will independently manage daily claims tasks, assist clients with reporting, understanding coverage, and guide them through the claims process.

Qualifications

• College degree or property casualty claims and insurance experience preferred.
• 1-3 years career experience in property and casualty claims; agency experience is a plus.
• State-specific commercial & personal property-casualty license required or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Applies insurance principles to consult with clients and deliver solutions; uses agency systems to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily claims needs and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Assist clients in reporting claims and understanding coverage.
• Educate clients on the claim process for various losses and act as a client advocate.
• Review open losses and provide timely loss information for internal and external clients.
• Notify relevant parties in litigated matters and follow up on claims management questions.
