PLS Claims in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Senior Property Field Adjuster to handle full-cycle adjustments for personal and commercial property claims across the state. A strong long-term growth opportunity with direct client interaction and emphasis on accuracy, writing, and analytics.

The ideal candidate will have five or more years of property field adjusting experience, proficiency with Xactimate, and the ability to review varied policy coverages while maintaining excellent

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of property field adjusting experience
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial building construction
• Knowledge of general building valuation and personal property losses
• Ability to review and interpret policy coverages from a wide range of insurers
• Proficiency with Xactimate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Conduct full property adjustments for personal and commercial lines claims, including building, personal property, and business income/Loss of Use
• Perform thorough claim investigations and evaluations from first notice through resolution
• Accurately track time and expenses; claims are billed on a Time & Expense basis
• Prepare clear, professional, and well-documented reports and claim correspondence
• Identify coverage issues, liability considerations, and subrogation opportunities
• Navigate claims toward fair and timely resolution using sound judgment
