Qualifications

• 5+ years of Property claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of Property policy and Business Interruption coverage.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to interpret policy language and coordinate with underwriters.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage all claims administration functions in the claims system.
• Handle files with independent adjusters by providing direction to the adjuster on coverage and measurement of the claim.
• Evaluate policy coverage and communicate with Insureds and work with other insurance companies who participate on the risk.
• Work with Underwriters on policy coverage and assist on policy wordings.
• Travel to loss sites and meetings with Insureds and market members in the adjustment of the claim with approx. 10% travel.
• Looking for a minimum of 5 years experience in the handling of Property claims.
