Job summary

American Modern Insurance Group seeks a Property Field Adjuster to manage residential property claims from first notice to resolution in Southern New Jersey. You will perform on-site inspections, evaluate damage, and develop estimates using Xactimate and Cotality.

You will guide policyholders through the claims process with clear communication, collaborate with agents and internal teams, and participate in CAT deployments as needed, potentially across the United States.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Property claims handling experience.
• Experience with estimating platforms (Xactimate, Cotality, Symbility).
• Knowledge of dwelling/mobile home construction beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own property claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and determine coverage.
• Develop estimates using Xactimate and Cotality.
• Guide policyholders through the claims process with clear communication.
• Partner with agents and internal teams to deliver strong outcomes.
• CAT duty participation as needed (up to 4 weeks).
