Job summary

On Grid Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler in Houston, TX to lead development, maintenance, and reporting of complex project schedules for EPC projects. You will work with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and clients to drive schedule clarity and alignment with execution strategy.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years planning experience, expert Primavera P6 skills, CPM scheduling mastery, and strong client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive planning and scheduling experience supporting industrial, construction, or EPC projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Onshore Power Generation, and/or Data Centers.
• Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6, including scheduling, baselining, updating, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong CPM scheduling knowledge and ability to analyze schedule performance and risks.
• Excellent client-facing communication and ability to lead schedule discussions with clients.
• Based in the Houston, Texas area and willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and other project activities.
• Perform project planning and scheduling, including work breakdown structures, activity sequencing, durations, logic, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Develop master and discipline-level schedules aligned with scope, milestones, and execution strategy.
• Coordinate sequencing of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain schedule logic, critical paths, calendars, baselines, and schedule updates reflecting actual progress.
• Analyze schedule performance, critical paths, float, delays, and impacts to milestones.
• Identify schedule risks and craft mitigation and recovery plans with project leadership.
• Support forecasting of labor, materials, equipment, and other resources; develop reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Present schedule status and risks clearly to clients and leadership, and participate in progress meetings.
