Job summary

Matrix Project Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Sr. Scheduler who will perform on-site project scheduling, Primavera P6 development, and earned value progress measurement for EPC projects. The role includes coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to maintain integrated schedules.

Travel to project sites is required; per diem is provided for eligible assignments. Candidates should have extensive Primavera P6 experience and strong MS Office skills, with EVMS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of major project scheduling experience, specifically in Primavera P6.
• Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office; working knowledge of MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of and ability to progress project work activities using Earned Value Management methods.
• Thorough understanding of process systems and engineering, procurement, fabrication and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules for EPC projects.
• Integrate multiple logic-tied EPC schedules from project sites.
• Prepare and maintain schedule reports and progress analyses.
• Travel to project sites as required; provide scheduling data for change requests and estimates.
• Supervise and train clerical and junior staff in scheduling tasks.
