Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking a staff Scheduling SME in the New York area to lead development and analysis of complex project schedules, train junior schedulers, and ensure accurate scope of work delivery. This onsite role requires strong communication, leadership, and scheduling system expertise.

Responsibilities include managing schedule baselines, risk analysis, and progress reporting to senior management, interfacing with contractors, and supporting project governance standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 8 years of qualified experience.
• Associate's degree with 6 years of qualified experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of qualified experience.
• Qualified degrees must be in a related field from an accredited university or college.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCMP, CETa, IQCP, RMP are required or preferred depending on education level.

Responsibilities

• Define activities, durations, work sequences, and logic to develop the scope of work plan.
• Develop milestones to represent key decisions and deliverables during execution.
• Provide input to schedulers for fully integrated system schedules (with resource loading and leveling).
• Develop junior schedulers by organizing schedule review meetings with stakeholders.
• Interface with site execution teams, contractors, and senior management.
• Ensure earned value management reporting is consistent across the department.
