Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement on EPC projects within the Nuclear market. You will guide the project procurement plan, manage budgets and schedules, and oversee sourcing of equipment, materials, and subcontracts.

The role requires extensive negotiation, risk management, and leadership of procurement staff to meet cost, schedule, and quality goals. As primary procurement representative to project leadership, you will collaborate with Engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management or equivalent.
• Experience as a Project Procurement Manager – Supply Chain for EPC projects; Nuclear market preferred.
• 10+ years in Engineering, Construction or equivalent work.
• Legal training or transactional/commercial management experience of 5+ years preferred.
• 8+ years of negotiation experience.
• Detail-oriented, highly motivated with strong time management and customer service skills.
• Advanced knowledge in risk evaluation, claims mitigation and dispute resolution.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all procurement activities for assigned EPC projects and develop the project procurement plan.
• Manage project supply chain budget and procurement schedules.
• Oversee procurement of equipment, materials, subcontracts and services.
• Negotiate critical contracts and provide negotiation support to project teams.
• Develop supply chain risk mitigation plans and liaise with legal for contract resolution.
• Mentor and develop procurement and supply chain personnel.
