Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager to lead all procurement activities for assigned EPC projects within the Nuclear market. You will develop procurement plans, manage budgets, and guide negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires extensive experience in engineering/construction procurement, strong negotiation and leadership abilities, and collaboration with legal and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management or equivalent degree.
• 10+ years of experience in Engineering, Construction or equivalent work/field.
• Experience as a Project Procurement Manager – Supply Chain for EPC projects; Nuclear market experience preferred.
• 8+ years negotiation experience.
• Legal training or transactional/commercial management experience (5+ years preferred).
• Detail-oriented with strong leadership, time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all procurement activities for assigned EPC projects.
• Develop and execute project procurement plan and budget.
• Negotiate high-risk contracts with suppliers and vendors.
• Provide training on negotiation, contracts, and terms and conditions.
• Interface with project attorney to move contracts to execution.
• Develop vendor relationships and manage supplier-specific vendor template negotiations.
• Ensure procurement aligns with cost, schedule, quality, and contract requirements.
