Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager for Advanced Manufacturing on a project-based assignment in the United States. You will lead procurement planning, purchasing/subcontract strategies, and coordination across teams for mega projects valued at $750M+ or of strategic importance.

You will oversee buyers, expeditors, and subcontract administrators, ensuring performance, risk management, and policy adherence while driving value on complex construction and manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management.
• Proficient in MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated drive to solve complex problems and inspirational leadership to manage procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead upfront procurement planning: SMEP, purchasing strategies, project templates and tools.
• Manage teams of buyers, expeditors, and subcontract administrators with oversight.
• Oversee procurement of major long-lead equipment and subcontracted services.
• Negotiate purchases and subcontracts, review invoices, manage risk and documentation.
• Coordinate with project and departmental personnel to ensure execution.
