Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects in California. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from concept to completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget while mentoring engineers and project managers across geographies.

You will strengthen client partnerships with irrigation districts, state and federal agencies, and other stakeholders, and provide strategic leadership on design, construction, and regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• MS Office and MS Project experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of major water infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
• Manage large, complex projects balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality; lead civil design activities.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships with agencies and districts.
• Mentor and develop engineers and project managers across geographies.
• Track project financials; adjust plans with accounting and leadership to stay on track.
• Provide QA/QC leadership and strategic guidance on design, construction support, and coordination.
