Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects in Northern California. You will manage multidisciplinary teams from concept through completion, ensuring technical excellence, schedule adherence, and profitable delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
10 years related experience.
Minimum 5 years project management experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
MS Office and MS Project experience; Access is a plus.
Leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of major water infrastructure projects—from concept to completion.
Manage large, complex projects or multiple concurrent efforts, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Design, lead, or support civil engineering design on a wide variety of projects including site layouts, grading and drainage, utilities, and related activities.
Strengthen client partnerships with irrigation districts, flood control agencies, and state/federal partners.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture while mentoring engineers and project managers.
Track financials and partner with leadership to keep projects on track.
