Job summary

HDR is seeking a Program Manager in California to lead multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs within the Water business. You will direct internal teams and subconsultants, advise clients on technical, regulatory, and financial matters, and drive program governance, risk management, and QA/QC to successful completion.

This role involves coordinating capital planning, design, construction, and startup activities, with travel to client sites as needed and mentoring staff toward successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Program management experience at senior levels with large, multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity and non-technical intricacies.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects of programs; apply lessons learned and industry best practices.
• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of program execution across disciplines (capital planning, change management, commissioning, procurement, etc.).
• Identify issues and risks; provide strategic advice, problem-solving, and resource deployment.
• Develop and implement program management plans, startup plans, and work plans to drive efficiency and alignment.
• Direct HDR and subconsultant teams; ensure contract compliance and QA/QC.
