Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Environmental/Project Planner to lead complex water infrastructure projects in California. You will work with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-impact solutions that support public health and environmental sustainability.

The role requires a Master’s degree (or higher) in a related field, 15+ years of experience, and strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration or closely related field
• Minimum 15 years related experience
• PMP certification preferred
• Familiar with Primavera P3 or SureTrak software
• Familiar with Prolog software
• Ability to interact with various design teams and strong organizational, project management and communication skills
• Knowledge of alternative delivery/contract models (P3, DBFOM, EPC)
• Willingness to travel regularly and commute to client sites

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects within HDR's Water Business Group.
• Collaborate with design teams across disciplines to deliver solutions.
• Travel regularly to client sites as needed to manage projects.
