Job summary

MWH Constructors in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area seeks a Project Manager (water/wastewater) to lead critical municipal and industrial construction projects. The role involves managing project teams, budgets, and schedules across CM-at-Risk, Design-Build or traditional delivery methods.

Qualified candidates will have 7–10 years in construction with 3–5 years on water/wastewater plants, a 4-year engineering/CM degree, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering/construction management degree or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of construction, design, finance and management experience/knowledge on heavy civil or industrial projects.
• 3-5 years of experience on water or wastewater plant projects.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business-orientation and proven judgment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and staff key field positions and coordinate staffing.
• Establish project objectives, policies and performance standards.
• Liaise with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate preconstruction and construction.
• Monitor and control construction to ensure on-schedule and within-budget delivery.
• Procurement of subcontractors and materials; support Change Management and scheduling.
