Job summary

MWH Constructors seeks a qualified Project Manager to lead water, wastewater, and advanced treatment plant projects in the Seattle, WA area. Responsibilities include directing design-build or CM-at-Risk or traditional delivery methods across $100–$800 million projects for municipal and industrial clients.

The role requires 7–10 years in heavy civil or industrial construction, including 3–5 years on water/wastewater facilities, with strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

  • 4-year engineering/construction management degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7–10 years of construction, design, finance and management experience on heavy civil or industrial projects.
  • 3–5 years of water or wastewater plant project experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and staff key field positions or subordinate project managers.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
  • Coordinate preconstruction and construction activities with clients and A/E contacts.
  • Monitor project execution to meet schedule and budget; implement corrective actions.
  • Represent the Company in project meetings and labor strategy discussions.
  • Manage contracts financials to protect company interests while maintaining client relations.
  • Provide leadership to project engineers, field engineers and superintendents.
  • Procurement of subcontractors and materials through agreements.
