Job summary

Zions Bancorporation’s Enterprise Technology and Operations team is transforming how a financial institution operates. We seek a seasoned Project Manager to lead Treasury and Payments initiatives, driving end-to-end delivery, governance, and stakeholder communications to achieve measurable business outcomes.

The role demands cross-functional leadership across business, product, operations, technology, risk, and finance, ensuring alignment with modernization strategy and enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 6+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably within banking, financial services, Treasury Management, payments, or another complex and regulated environment.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies, with the ability to adapt the delivery approach to the initiative.
• Treasury Management, ACH, wires, APIs, or real-time payment solutions within financial services is preferred.
• Preferred Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, highly visible initiatives through the full project lifecycle with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Translate business strategies into integrated project plans with scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and budgets.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting covering project health, milestones, financial performance, risks, and decisions.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies related to scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource plans; maintain governance artifacts.
