Job summary

ExecuPOWER LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Transmission & Substation in Central New Jersey. The role leads planning, execution, and delivery of electric utility projects, coordinating engineers, schedulers, and controls teams while managing scope, budget, and safety requirements.

You will serve as the primary client contact for transmission and substation projects, oversee cross-functional teams, and ensure projects meet contractual obligations and utility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• 8+ years of project or program management experience in electric utility, power delivery, or utility infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to Central New Jersey client locations and project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead electric transmission and substation utility projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and execution strategies.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to address delays and cost overruns.
• Coordinate engineering, design, project controls, scheduling, document control, and other project resources to maintain alignment.
• Manage milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and client commitments.
• Escalate issues appropriately and drive timely resolution through clear communication and accountability.
