Job summary

PowerRise in Washington, DC seeks a senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electric utility transmission and substation projects from concept through closeout. You will direct cross-functional teams, manage cost, schedule, and risk, and interface with clients and regulators to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in electric utility project management, strong leadership, and expertise with MS Project/Primavera, Agile/Waterfall, and complex stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical) or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience delivering large-scale electric utility projects (transmission/substation).
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with diverse teams.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tailoring to project needs.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for large electric utility initiatives.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within scope.
• Oversee all phases from concept through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout, aligning with client objectives and regulatory mandates.
