Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams on transmission, substation and distribution projects in a hybrid work model in the United States. The role involves managing all life-cycle phases, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering on safety, schedule and budget targets.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in project management of utility, construction, engineering or related fields.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with capital project management and client liaison roles.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with client-facing strengths.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel ~10–25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution, contract administration, planning and resource management.
• Own all aspects of project performance: safety, schedule, budget, reporting, client experience.
• Lead all project life-cycle phases from initiation to close out.
• Direct and mentor project team; foster accountability and collaboration.
• Maintain positive relationships with client leads and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support KPI reporting for schedule, budget and dashboards.
• Identify construction risks and manage change control.
• Communicate and consult with stakeholders and supervisors.
• Prepare clear project reports meeting client requirements.
• Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results.
