Job summary

Primoris T&D seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale transmission and substation projects from concept through commissioning. You will oversee execution, finances, resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with a focus on safety and quality.

This role operates with high autonomy, mentoring staff and driving continuous improvement in project delivery processes. Strong leadership and regulatory acumen are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Physical Sciences, or related field.
• 7-10 years of progressively responsible project management experience in electric utility, transmission, substation, energy, infrastructure, or heavy construction environments.
• PMP certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large-scale transmission and substation projects with overall accountability for scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage project portfolios consisting of complex capital programs with significant financial and operational impacts.
• Lead project teams through all project lifecycle phases, including initiation, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Provide leadership during critical project issues and develop recovery plans when project performance deviates from established objectives.
