Job summary

PSEG Services Corp is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in utility transmission initiatives. The role focuses on leading strategic projects from inception to completion, coordinating across engineering, planning, real estate, and permitting teams, and ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.

The candidate will drive the identification of opportunities, prepare competitive responses, and oversee project delivery from scoping to close-out, while aligning with PSEG’s standards

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 6–12 years in utility engineering, construction, operations or project management.
• Knowledge of inside/outside plant engineering, procurement, and construction-related processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to obtain PMP within 12 months of start date.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and deliver transmission opportunities within and beyond PSEG’s service territory.
• Prepare responses to competitive solicitations and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage design, permitting, procurement, stakeholder outreach, construction, and turnover of projects.
• Oversee budget for development and O&M, ensuring financial discipline.
• Coordinate bid specifications and contractor/vendor performance; manage safety and risk.
